Telegram recently launched a screen-sharing feature for its users. The Screen Sharing feature enables users to broadcast the contents of their computer or mobile screen to one or up to 1000 users on their own devices. This makes it easier to discuss and present topics in real-time during meetings and conferences making the platform the ultimate video conferencing app.

How to Share Screen on Telegram During an Individual Call

Step 1: Start the Telegram app on your device.

Step 2: Go to the chat that you would like to video call and share your screen with.

Step 3: Tap on the call button at the top right corner to start a call.

Step 4: To transform the call into a video call simply click on the Video Call button and that’s it.

Step 5: Select the camera that you want to use. You can use either the front or the back camera.

Step 6: Select the phone screen option and tap on the Share Video option.

Step 7: Once the popup appears, click on Start Now. A message that reads “You are sharing your screen” will immediately appear.

How to Share Screen on Telegram During a Group Call

Step 1: Open the Telegram app on your device.

Step 2: Open a Group chat in which all members are present.

Step 3: Tap on the name of the group.

Step 4: Click on Voice call and tap on “Start Voice Chat.”

Step 5: To transform the call into a video call simply click on the Video Call button and that’s it.

Step 6: Tap on the More menu icon (three dots) beside the chat.

Step 7: Select “Share Screen.”

Step 8: Click on “Start Broadcast.”

Step 9: To stop screen sharing, tap the red button on the top left then click “Stop Screen Sharing.”
