Setting up Airtel internet settings in Uganda is simple and precise. The Airtel APN to access the internet is simply the word “internet.” Here is how you can set up the APN in two ways; Automatic setup and manual setup. This method works for both iPhones and androids.

Set up Automatically

  • Insert your Airtel sim card into a data cable device.
  • You will receive a text notification asking you to configure Airtel’s internet settings.
  • On the recipient, please save the settings.

Manual Set up for Airtel Internet Settings in Uganda

For iPhone

  • Launch the Settings app.
  • Tap on Mobile Data.
  • Click on Mobile Data Network.
  • Enter APN: internet and Profile Name: Airtel Internet.
  • Then save the settings. The data icon will show at the top if the set up was successful.

For androids

  • Switch on the Mobile Data option.
  • Tap the Settings app.
  • Select Connections.
  • Select Mobile network.
  • Turn ON data roaming.
  • Select Access Point Names.
  • Add a new APN/point name.
  • Enter APN: internet and Profile Name: Airtel Internet.
  • Then save the settings. The data icon will show at the top if the setup was successful.
