Step 1: Start the Contacts app on your iPhone.
Step 2: Select a contact from the list.
Step 3: Tap Edit in the top-right corner of the screen.
Step 4: Tap Ringtone.
Step 5: Choose one of the sounds that you want to use below Ringtones.
Step 6: Tap Done in the top-right corner of the screen.
Step 7: Tap Done again.
How to Change Call Ringtone on iPhone
Step 1: Go to the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
Step 2: Scroll down to and select Sounds & Haptics. For older iPhone versions, the feature might display as Sounds.
Step 3: Under the Sounds and Vibration Patterns section, tap Ringtone.
Step 4: On the Ringtone screen, tap a ringtone. Each ringtone you tap will play so you can hear what it sounds like. The iPhone comes with dozens of ringtones pre-loaded. If you want to buy new ringtones, tap Tone Store and follow the prompts.
Step 5: Once you find the ringtone you want to use as the default, tap it so that the checkmark appears next to it. The ringtone choice is saved automatically.
