Instagram recently added tools for users to review and manage their photos, videos, accounts, and account activity. That way you can view all posts that you have liked or commented on, see changes you have made to your account, check recent search history, view the links you have visited, and most definitely view content that you deleted on Instagram. Above all, you can also download the information you shared with Instagram.

1. Start the Instagram app on your device.
2. Get started by signing in to your account.
3. Tap on your Profile icon at the bottom right corner.
4. Click on the hamburger icon in the upper right corner.
5. Select “Your Activity” from the list of menu options.
6. Click on “Download your Information.”
7. Enter the email address where the copy of what you have shared on Instagram will be sent.
8. Tap on “Request Download.”
9. Enter your Instagram password to finalize the download request procedure.
Quick Note: Instagram will immediately start the compilation of the file of things that you have shared. This process might take up to 48 hours.
- Launch the Instagram app on your device.
- Assuming that you have already logged in to your account.
- Tap on your profile icon at the bottom right corner.
- Click on the hamburger icon in the upper right corner.
- Select “Your Activity.”
- Tap on “Photos and Videos.”
- Click on “Posts” to view all your posts. Select the post that you preferer to achieve or delete.
- Click on “Reels” to view all your posts. Select the reel that you preferer to achieve or delete.
- Click on “Videos” to view all your posts. Select the video that you preferer to achieve or delete.
2. Check Instagram Posts that you Liked
- Open Instagram.
- Click on your profile icon at the bottom right corner.
- Tap on the hamburger icon in the upper right corner.
- Select “Your Activity.”
- Tap on “Interactions.”
- Click on “Likes.”
- You will see all the posts you have liked.
3. Check Posts that you Commented on
- Launch the Instagram app and ensure that you log in to your account.
- Tap on your profile icon at the bottom right corner.
- Click on the hamburger icon in the upper right corner.
- Select “Your Activity.”
- Tap on “Interactions.”
- Click on “Comments.”
- You will see all the posts you have commented on.
4. Check Time Spent on Instagram per Day
- Start Instagram and log in to your account.
- Click on your profile icon at the bottom right corner.
- Tap on the hamburger icon in the upper right corner.
- Select “Your Activity.”
- Tap on “Time Spent.”
- You will be able to view the average time you have spent per day on the Instagram app from the previous week.
5. View the Changes you have made to your Account (Account History)
- Start the Instagram app on your device.
- On your account, tap on your profile icon at the bottom right corner.
- Click on the hamburger icon in the upper right corner.
- Select “Your Activity.”
- Tap on “Account History.”
- All the changes you made to your account will be displayed. The times you changed password, username, name, and added bio will show.
6. Check your Instagram Search history
- Open Instagram.
- Click on your profile icon at the bottom right corner.
- Tap on the hamburger icon in the upper right corner.
- Select “Your Activity.”
- Tap on “Recent Searches.”
- All your Instagram search history will pop up. You can choose to clear recent searches by tapping the cancel icon on a particular chat or tap “Clear All” at the upper right corner to delete all recent search history.
7. Check Links that you have Visited
- Open Instagram and sign in to your account.
- Click on your profile icon at the bottom right corner.
- Tap on the hamburger icon in the upper right corner.
- Select “Your Activity.”
- Tap on “Links you’ve visited.”
- On the next page, you will review the links that you clicked on.
8. View and Manage Recently Deleted Content on your Instagram Account
- Open Instagram and sign in to your account.
- Click on your profile icon at the bottom right corner.
- Tap on the hamburger icon in the upper right corner.
- Select “Your Activity.”
- Tap on “Recently Deleted.”
- You will be able to see all deleted posts, stories, IGTV videos, and reels.
9. View what you have Responded to People’s Stories
- Launch the Instagram app and log into your account.
- Click on your profile icon at the bottom right corner.
- Tap on the hamburger icon in the upper right corner.
- Select “Your Activity.”
- Tap on “Interactions.”
- Click on “Story Replies.”
- All your story replies will pop up in the next menu.
