If you own more than one Apple device, chances are high that you signed in on all of the devices with the same Apple ID. The Apple ID device list consists of your Apple devices; iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, etc; that are signed in with the same Apple ID. Devices connected to the Apple ID are mostly trusted devices. However, when you do not trust a device anymore, you can choose to remove the device from connecting to your Apple ID.

Remove a Device From Your Apple ID (iPhone)

Step 1: On your iPhone, open the Settings app.

Step 2: From the Settings menu, tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen just below the search field. The Apple ID field should display your name and the profile icon.

Step 3: Scroll down to the bottom of the menu. Tap “Show All’ and you will see a list of the different devices that are connected to your Apple ID.

Step 4: Tap on the device that you want to remove from connecting to your Apple ID.

Step 5: The device information page will load. Click on “Remove from Account.”

Step 6: A pop-up will appear to let you know that removing the device from your account will prevent it from using iCloud or other Apple services until you log back in. Continue by tapping “Remove.”

Step 7: Depending on the device being removed, another pop-up may appear telling you to contact your carrier to deactivate your SIM card. Tap OK.

Step 8: After that, the connected device will be removed from your Apple account. However, if the device still has log-in details stored and may ask you to log back in. To fully block the device from accessing your account, change your Apple ID password.

Step 1: On your MacBook, tap on Apple Menu

Step 2: From the displayed list, select System Preferences.

Step 3: Next, tap on Apple ID.

Step 4: All the connected devices will be displayed on the left menu.

Step 5: Tap on the device that you want to remove.

Step 6: Click Remove from Account. If no devices are associated with your Apple ID, this section won’t appear.

Step 1: Start a preferred browser.

Step 2: Go to the Apple ID account page HERE.

Step 3: Sign in with your Apple ID username and password.

Step 4: Scroll down to see the devices section.

Step 5: Select a device to remove.
