Linda Mama is a Government sponsored program run by NHIF that offers free maternal care to mothers seeking maternity services. It is eligible for all pregnant mothers who are Kenyan citizens. How to Register for Linda Mama NHIF Cover Online
#1. Register through the USSD Code *155#
- Dail *155# on your phone
- Select your language option either 1 for English or 2 for Kiswahili
- Select option 2 for free maternity as your scheme
- Choose the type of identification for registration, select option 1 which is Kenyan ID
- Enter your identification number
- Now type in your first name and last name
- Enter the year of birth
- Select County
- Confirm Linda Mama registration and click ok
- You will then present the FMS number assigned on registration to any of the contracted NHIF health care providers for activation and verification of details
#2. Register via the NHIF Registration portal
- Go to the NHIF registration portal
- Click Self Employed, Employed, or Employer
- Enter your National ID/Passport/Alien ID
- Fill in all other form details
- Attach a scanned copy of your ID or Passport
- Attach passport size photo
- If married, attach your spouse’s marriage certificate
- Click to confirm.
