The Trust mobile service is a service that allows FTB account holders to conduct a number of financial transactions using their mobile devices such as mobile phones. With the service enabled, customers can deposit and withdraw funds, check account balances, pay bills, request account statements, transfer funds, and request immediate loans (Ku Siimu loans). Here is how you can register for Finance Trust bank mobile banking in Uganda.
Requirements for FTB Mobile Banking Registration
- Finance Trust Bank account.
- National ID/ Passport.
- Registered Phone number.
- Visit the FTB branch premises.
How to Register for Finance Trust Bank Mobile Banking in Uganda
1. Visit the nearest Housing Finance bank in your area. Click here for locations.
2. Go to the Customer care desk and request to join FTB mobile banking platform.
3. Next, the customer care agent will avail you with a form, fill in all the required information about your FTB account then attach a photocopy of your National ID to the form and submit both forms to the customer care agent.
4. On enrollment, the customer will receive a recreate key and PIN via SMS. The create key and pin will help you log in to the mobile banking platform thus indicating that you have successfully registered for FTB mobile banking service. The customer can access the service by dialing *224# and/or by downloading the Finance Trust Bank mobile App from Play Store.
6. If you have a smartphone, download and install the FTB mobile app on your device. The app is available on both App Store (IOS) and Play Store (Androids). After successful download, launch the app then enter the Activation/Recreate Key that was sent via SMS and the pin.
7. Alternatively, you can use the FTB Mobile USSD shortcode *224#. Dial the code (*224#) using the registered phone number then enter the activation key and follow the prompts.
8. After successful Login, alternate your pin to a more secure one and start mobile seamless mobile transactions without any restrictions.
