Glovo is an on-demand courier service that purchases, picks up, and delivers products ordered through the Glovo mobile app. On the Glovo app, you can order food from different restaurants, buy products from the supermarket, and so much more. Here is how you can order foodstuff on Glovo Uganda in Kampala.

Step 1: Create Glovo Account
1. Download and install the Glovo app on your device. The app is available on both Play Store for Androids and App Store for IOS.
2. Launch the Glovo App and share the location.
3. Click the signup button then sign up with your name, valid email, and password.
4. Accept the terms and Conditions of the Glovo app by clicking Continue and register button.
Step 2: Place your Order
1. Open the Glovo app on your device.
2. Click login and login with your email address and password.
3. Tap on the “Food” option.
4. Click on “Restaurants”. The restaurants are grouped into different categories;
- Restaurants near you.
- Promotions.
5. Scroll down to look for a specific restaurant you would like to place an order from. Alternatively, if you have the restaurant details, you can choose to search them in the search bar at the top bar menu.
6. Tap on the restaurant you want to order from.
7. Then select delivery or Takeaway. For deliveries, the order will be brought to your destination and for Take aways, you will pick the order by yourself.
8. Scroll through the menu list. To pick your menu, click on the plus sign. If you want to order the particular menu more than once, continue tapping on the plus sign. On the right of the product, you will see the times a particular order will be offered. Click on the negative (-) mark to reduce order quantity.
9. After selecting your menu, click on the “Order…..” button.
10. This will refer you to the check out page;
- Here you will be able to view your order details including the total amount and you can just make adjustments according to your preference.
- If you have any allergies, you can list them by clicking on the right-scroll mark.
- Drag the toggle to the right if you need any cutlery.
- Enter the details of where you want the food to be delivered.
- You can also choose to schedule the time of the delivery.
- Add your phone number.
- Select payment method; you can pay with cash or mobile money or use a debit card.
- Click on the “Confirm Order” button.
How to Track your Order on Glovo
- On the Home page, click on the profile icon at the top left corner.
- Tap on “My Orders” to see past and ongoing orders.
- For ongoing orders, you will be able to see how much time you have left for the order to arrive.
