Earlier today, I searched for a possibility that would help me load Lycamobile data from either MTN Uganda or Airtel Uganda. My search was adorned simple shortcode that will definitely help you pay bills, load data, pay utilities, buy airtime and send money across all networks. Here is how you can load data and pay bills across all networks.

Use Trade Lance Limited USSD Code (*252#)

The Trade-Lance USSD shortcode (*252#) will enable you to pay bills, load data, and send money across all networks. This USSD shortcode works on both Airtel and MTN. To get started, launch the dialer on your device then follow the prompts listed below.

1. Dial *252# then press the OK button (charges apply).

2. Select option 1, Payment to pay;

  • M-rent
  • Utilities (NWSC, UMEME, URA)
  • Pay-TV (GOTV, DSTV, StarTimes, Zuku TV, Azam TV).
  • Trade-Lance Payments

  • A:M Executive Cleaning.

3. Choose option 2, Goods and Services to pay;

  • Buy Airtime – MTN, Airtel, Lycamobile, UTL, Smile.

6. The only acceptable payment method is via mobile money. Therefore the subscriber must confirm the mobile money pin to complete this process.

Note: Before you use this USSD shortcode, ensure that you have airtime and your mobile money account is loaded. In simple terms, you will be charged by the telecom company for using the USSD shortcode, and also after accessing particular services, charges will be deducted from your mobile money account for the transaction.
