How to Get an EcoBank Account Statement Online in Uganda
EcoBank Mobile gives you two alternative options to help you get your account statement. The first alternative, you can use the EcoBank USSD shortcode (*235#) and the second alternative you can use the EcoBank Mobile app. Whichever method you prefer to use, you must have registered for EcoBank mobile banking services. Follow the procedures listed in the methods below.
Use EcoBank Mobile App
Have you downloaded the EcoBank mobile app yet? If not, this method will require you to download and install the EcoBank mobile app from Google Play Store for Androids and App Store for IOS. Follow the steps below to check your account balance.
1. Launch the EcoBank mobile app on your device.
2. Click Login and log in with the required login credentials.
3. Scroll down on the main menu page.
4. Click on Statement.
5. Your account statement will display on the screen.
Use USSD Shortcode
This method will suit all mobile phone types. However, the account holder should use the registered phone number. To get started launch the dialer and follow the step-by-step guide listed below;
1. Dial *235# and press the call button.
2. At this point you will be prompted to enter a mobile banking pin. Click on Reply or press OK, enter the pin and press the “send” button to proceed.
3. Enter your account number.
4. Select a number that corresponds to the Statement option. You can either choose a mini-statement or a detailed statement.
5. The statement will appear on the screen.
