How to fix the issue of Spotify not appearing in Google Home app or assistant:
- Firstly; delete your location data on Google Home. This can be done by navigating to Google Home App > Home App settings > Clear App location.
- Secondly; restart your smartphone in case that is what you are using to set up Google Home with Spotify. Doing this completely clears out any Cached data, temporal preferences, and settings.
- Thirdly; connect to a VPN with a U.S (United States) location. Irrespective of the fact that Spotify services are available in your country, the Google Home app or Assistant may still not be allowing you to link your account. This feature is only available in a few select countries including the U.S. So start by connecting to a U.S VPN.
- And finally; open the Google Home app again and tap on the plus(+) sign on the top left corner and select Music. You should now see a list of music services including Spotify, Youtube, Apple Music, Deezer etc.
Select Spotify and Link it with your Google Home App.
