If you have plans of rooting your phone and installing a custom ROM or maybe you would like to sideline an app from your computer then enabling Developer options is the smart thing to do before anything else.

Developer options enable the user to configure system behaviors that help you profile and debug app performance. That way you can enable debugging over USB, capture a bug report, enable visual feedback for taps, flash window surfaces when they update, use the GPU for 2D graphics rendering, and more.

Step 1: Launch Settings

To enable Developer options, start the Settings App on your Android device.
