a) Using google maps
Around 23 million people downloaded the Google Maps application in 2020.
Google Maps offers real-time traffic conditions, aerial photography, satellite imagery, street maps, 360° interactive panoramic views of streets, and route planning for traveling by foot, car, bike, air, and public transportation.
To find nearby restaurants using Google Maps:
a) Firstly, open Google Maps on your device (Android, iPhone, or PC).
b) Secondly, type restaurants in the search bar and a list of restaurants and their locations are displayed immediately.
c) Thirdly, choose a restaurant of your choice, tap on it and follow the directions with Google Maps until you reach it.
b) Using the Jumia food app
Jumia is an online store where phones, electronics, appliances, groceries, cleaning supplies, home essentials, etc, are bought.
To access restaurants using the Jumia food app:
a) Firstly, open the jumia food app on the web, Android app or iOS app.
b) Secondly, tap on restaurants
c) Thirdly, the restaurants will be displayed with food offers for you to choose from.
Jumia food is mainly for ordering food online. You choose what you like, the price of the food you have chosen is showed to you, and then you confirm the order. After you sit and wait for your food to be delivered.
Alternatively, you could actually just go to the restaurants themselves and eat food from there.
c) Using the KFC app
KFC is a fast-food chain restaurant headquartered in Kentucky. It has more than 25000 outlets in 145 countries and territories in the world.
Now, with this app, you access only KFC food in Uganda. To get KFC chicken:
a) Firstly, open the app (either on iOS or Android).
b) Secondly, input your location.
c) Thirdly, pick a combo e.g streetwise, 9-piece thrift, bucket, etc, and it will be delivered to your doorstep.
