Microsoft Office 2019 is a great improvement from the previous release (Microsoft Office 2016). Microsoft office 2019 is good news for Microsoft fans. Unfortunately, there some bad news for those of you who use Windows 8, 8.1, and 7. Microsoft Office 2019 is only available for Windows 10 users and Windows Server 2016 for server machines.

This means that Windows 8, 8.1, and 7 users will need to upgrade to Windows 10 to be able to use this new Microsoft Office suite. There is one last essential thing you need to know about this new release. The release doesn’t contain OneNote as previously with Office 2016. This is because Windows 10 is now bundled with the Universal Windows platform version of One Note.

How to download Microsoft Office 2019 for free

Earlier, Microsoft used to provide free image downloads for their products which unfortunately they later cut off in 2014.

Thanks to Heidoc that came up with a solution to this with the Windows Iso Downloader which provides all the downloads directly from Microsoft servers for free.

All you need to do is to download the Windows Iso downloader from here.

After the download, access your downloads folder and open the tool.

Click No on the “you can donate some of your idle resources” window to continue to the program.

From the Product section of the tool, click on Office and select Office 2019.

From the left, select the office edition you prefer. The tool provides the option of downloading individual Office programs for those who don’t use the whole suite to avoid unnecessary downloads.

After selecting the preferred edition. Select a product language and then click Download.
