How to Disable lock screen notifications on iPhone
On your iPhone, you can choose block lock previews for all apps or for particular sensitive apps.
Method 1
1. Start the Settings app o your device.
2. Select “Notifications” from the Settings menu.
3. Click on “Show Previews.”
4. Under “Show Previews” select either “Unlocked” or “Never.”
- Select Always to get notification previews when your iPhone is unlocked.
- Click on When Unlocked if you want notification previews to show when your iPhone is unlocked.
- Select Never, if you do not want notification previews to show both when your iPhone is locked or unlocked.
Method 2:
1. Launch the “Settings” app on your iPhone.
2. Select the App from the list whose lock screen previews you want to block.
3. Tap on Notifications then deselect Lock Screen notifications.
4. Repeat the process with every app whose lock screen notifications you want to block.
How to Disable lock screen notifications on Android
The interface of your Android phone might be different but the procedure is pretty the same as shown below;
1. Open your phone’s Settings app.
2. Tap Apps & notifications then tap on Notifications.
3. Under “Lock screen,” tap Notifications on the lock screen or On lock screen.
4. Toggle off “Show notification on the lock screen.”
5. Also, toggle off “Hide sensitive notification content.”
