You know how you go to a website and it asks you to sign up or log in using a user name and a password and some other details like names, email, etc? These login details are stored in the chrome browser in case your browser is chrome. This also happens with other web browsers like Microsoft’s Edge, Mozilla’s Firefox, and Apple’s Safari. The reason these log-in details are stored is so that the next time you return to the site, you do not have to re-enter the username/email and password.

Some people are not comfortable saving such information on devices. That is also fine. Chrome always asks for your permission before saving your login credentials. In case you are not fine with it, there is always the option of Don’t save that pops up that you can choose for it not to save your login details.
