- Open the Instagram app and head over to your profile
- Navigate to the photo carousel you would like to edit.
- Click the three dots on the top right corner, next to your profile name. This will give you a few options: i.e “Delete”,”Archive”,”Share.” Click the “Edit.” option
(NOTE: Don’t click “Delete” – see the next section for why) - Then, scroll to the photo you would like to erase from the carousel, and click the trashcan icon in the top left — the icon is on top of your photo, just below your profile name.
- After you click the icon, a pop-up will appear, asking you to confirm deleting.
- Click “Delete.” Once you’re happy with your decision and done editing your carousel, click “Done” on the top right corner, and you’re all done!
- Your post will remain and that one photo will be deleted from your Carousel
Bonus: How to delete a full post on Instagram
- Firstly; Open the Instagram app and log into your Instagram account
- Secondly; Head over to your profile
- Thirdly; Select the post that you want to delete
- Fourthly; Select that that post that you want to delete, and tap “…” three-dot icon in the lower right corner of the screen
- Then: Click on the “delete” option on the pop-up menu
