The service charge is 11% of the loan.
Who Qualifies For Beerako Loan?
Beerako Loan is available for all Airtel Uganda subscribers who have used the network for at least 60 days. Also, the subscriber must have loaded airtime on their line to automatically qualify. The airtime top-up influences the Beerako loan limit for instance, if you top-up at least UGX 1500 within 14 days, you can get an airtime loan for UGX 500.

Procedure to Borrow Airtime on Airtel
- Dial *155# for airtime credit.
- You presented with your Beerako limit. Mine is UGX 200, so I will proceed with option 1.
- My account will then be credited with airtime instantly.
Procedure to Borrow Voice bundles/Data Bundles with Airtel Beerako
- Dial *143# for voice or data bundle on credit.
- From the next menu, choose either Data Beerako or Voice Beerako.
- Select the preferred offer and proceed.
How to Check Berako Loan Balance?
Here is how you can check your airtime or data or voice loan balance with Airtel’s Beerako;
For Airtime:
- Dial *155# then select option 9 for Balance Check.
- Your Beerako loan balance will be displayed.
For Data/Voice Bundle:
- Dial *143# and press OK.
- Select option 0 for Loan Balance.
