Unlike before, you had to queue for hours to access a service, the process is relatively easy. Learning How to book an appointment at Huduma Center is important for Kenyans. Technology has made things more accessible than in previous decades. In Kenya, Huduma centers were established to provide different government services under one roof. However, before you access what you need, you need to know how to book an appointment at the Huduma center. Booking a date and time is necessary if you need one or more services.

There are a few things to note: you don’t need an appointment to be served in the other 4 Huduma Centres in the City but only at the GPO station; you also don’t need an appointment to be served in other Centers across the country.

Huduma appointment online booking is a simple process. You can book using any device that can connect internet. You can visit the nearest cyber cafĂ© to make your Huduma center appointment if you don’t have a smartphone.

How to book an appointment at Huduma Center

Follow these steps to book an appointment at Huduma Center:

1. Register/login to the appointment booking site

  • Open the official appointment link given by the government.
  • If it is your first time using the system, you need to register. If it isn’t, fill in your ID number and password.
  • Fill in all the details required to complete your Huduma appointment registration.
  • The details needed are your name, ID number, phone number, and email address.
  • A one-time activation code should be sent to the phone number you have registered.

2. Set the preferred date and time

  • After logging in, click on New Appointment.
  • Your details will appear on this tab. Visit the service center tab to choose the station you wish to be served.
  • Next, select your preferred time and date, followed by your county of residence.
  • Save the details.

3. Note your ticket number and details

  • An auto-generated ticket will be displayed on your screen. It contains your ticket number, the service needed, the center you will visit, your name, the date of booking, and the date the ticket was issued.
  • The exact details will be sent to your phone as a confirmation SMS.
  • From the My Appointments tab, you can get your current and past center bookings.
  • You can also cancel your booking under the same tab if you wish.
