The Twitter Jar / Tips was introduced in May 2021. This feature allows you to add third-party payment links to your profile and the funds will be transferred to the user’s accounts. So in case, a customer wants to make payments via Twitter, they will visit the user’s profile, click on the tips icon then follow through with the steps to make payment. Here is how you can activate the Twitter tips feature.

- Open Twitter.
- Navigate to your Twitter profile.
- Choose Edit Profile option.
- Select Tips.
- Accept the terms and conditions of the monetization policy.
- Drag the toggle towards the right to Allow tips option.
- Select payment options.
- Click on confirm to activate Twitter tips.
