Reviewing your statement gives the account holder a detailed representation of their MTN mobile money transactions or act as evidence for previous transactions in case any grievance comes through. The process to get a transaction statement is simple and precise plus the feedback is instantly sent directly on your phone via Short Message Service (SMS) or email. Method 1: Check MTN Mobile Statement Using USSD Codes
This method dubbed as Mini-statement provides transaction history statements for the last four transactions only.
- Dial *165#
- Select My Account.
- Select Request Mini Statement.
- Enter Mobile Money PIN.
- You will receive a notification via SMS.
Method 2: Get MTN Mobile Statement Using MTN MoMo App
Using the MTN MoMo app is the best option if you want transaction history statements between 30 and 60 days.
- Download the MTNMomo App. It’s available on the Play Store (Android) and App Store (IOS).
- Launch the MTNMoMo app and log in with your MTN mobile number. You will be required to input your 5-digit PIN.
- Upon a successful login, tap My Account on the right corner of the screen. A mini statement of the last few transactions will show Your Account history details.
- Click Get Statement at the bottom of the screen detonated with the yellow color.
- Select the duration of the statement you would like to receive. MTN MoMo offers statements for 30 days and 60 days.
- Click Download PDF. Then go ahead and tap on Download at the bottom of the screen.
- A confirmation page will pop up on your screen to verify user assurance on downloading the statement.
- Click Download. A notification will pop up; tap Allow to grant MTN MoMo access to photos, media, and files on your device. (This will enable the app to send the document directly to your phone).
- Click download again. And finally, the statement will be sent on our phone instantly.
- To view the statement, check your gallery or files manager.
Method 3: Visit any nearest MTN service centers
If you need an MTN mobile money statement for 3 months and beyond, find the nearest MTN service centers closest to you. At the service center, you’ll be directed on how to get an MTN mobile money statement. You need to be aware that if you to get a personal MTN mobile money statement, you’ll need your national ID. For businesses, an individual director should carry their national ID + a request letter on a headed company paper. The request letter should contain information such as the company mtn mobile money number & name. It’s better to move with the SIM card. The fee for an MTN mobile money statement is UGX 30,000 and is only paid via MTN momo pay at the service center using the same number requesting an MTN mobile money statement.
