A bank statement is a list of all financial transactions carried out on a particular bank account over a set period. The statement includes deposits, charges, and withdrawals. Exim account holders can view daily, weekly and monthly statements online either via the app or through the USSD shortcode.

How to Get an Exim Bank Account Statement Online in Uganda

Exim account holders can either view their bank account statement via the Exim bank Uganda Mobile app or by using the USSD short code (*298#). Whichever method you choose, you should have registered for Exim mobile banking services to complete the task.

Use Exim Uganda Mobile App

This method will require the account holder to download and install the Exim bank Uganda mobile app on their device. The app is available on Google Play Store for Androids and App Store for IOS. After successful download, follow the steps below to view your account statement online.

1. Launch the Exim bank Uganda mobile app.

2. Click login then log in with your username and Password.

3. Click on the “Accounts” feature.

4. The last transactions will appear below the account balance of the selected account.

5. You can view the last 10 transactions, monthly, weekly and daily transactions.

Use USSD Shortcode (*298#)

This is an alternative method for individuals who have feature phones or smartphones and they do not prefer to download the app on their device. To get started, launch the dialer then follow the prompts as described below;

1. Dial *298# and press the call button.

2. Enter the Exim mobile banking pin.

3. Select a number that corresponds to the “Statements” option.

4. Choose an account whose statement to view statement.

5. The account statement will appear on the screen.
