- A valid Identification card or Passport.
- Certified company or organization documents.
- Set up fee which is currently UGX 100,000/=
- An initial deposit of UGX 500,000/=
- Well-filled in application form (this can be done at the service provider shop).
Requirements for Acquiring a Toll-free Number on MTN
- A valid Identification card or Passport.
- Certified company or organization documents.
- A deposit of UGX 500,000 is required.

Steps to Get a Toll-Free Number
There are a variety of toll-free number providers in Uganda for example MTN, Airtel, and UTL. These service providers have different requirements. Make sure you have all the requirements.
Go ahead and visit any telecommunication service branch near you with all the required documents and recommended application fees.
Contact any customer service agent at the particular branch you have visited. Request for Toll-free application form and fill it out accurately as per instructions.
Present the form attached with the application fees to the customer service agent. The agent will verify if you qualify to get a toll-free line. If you qualify, the toll-free line will be issued to you immediately.
