How to Freeze Apps on Android

Follow the steps below to freeze apps on Android successfully;

Method 1: Using the Freezer App

  • Open the Freezer app on your phone.
  • Click Add.
  • Then select the app that you want to freeze.

Note: To unfreeze the app you will need to open the Freezer Application then select the app that you want to unfreeze and press ok.

Method 2: Use the Phone Master App

  • Download and install the Phone Master app on your phone from the Play Store. (Check your device first, you might have the app installed already).
  • Open the Phone Master app.
  • Click on “Tool Box”.
  • Scroll down and select “Freezer”.
  • Click “Add”.
  • Then select the app or apps that you want to Freeze and press OK.

Note: This is a temporary way of disabling app functionality.

How to unfreeze Apps on Android

Follow the steps below to unfreeze apps on Android;

  • Open the Phone Master app.
  • Click on “Tool Box”.
  • Scroll down and select “Freezer”.
  • Tap on the frozen app from the displayed list.
  • Then click “Done” to unfreeze the app.
