Find Missing Channels on Gotv via Menu

To recover your missing channels, you can try these steps:

  1. Tap on the “Menu” button on your GOtv remote.
  2. Scroll through the options then select “Advanced Options”.
  3. Choose “Installation” from the displayed menu.
  4. Select “Tuning”.
  5. Choose “Automatic Scan” and press the “OK” button.
  6. Scanning will take a few minutes.
  7. Press the exit button on the remote once scanning is completed.

Method 2: Use USSD

  1. Dial *206#
  2. Select GOtv.
  3. Select RESET E-16.
  4. Enter IUC Number and follow the prompts.

Note: This USSD is paid for that means you need to have airtime on your line. It works on only telecom companies in Uganda.

Find Missing Channels on Gotv SMS

  1. Launch Message app.
  2. Type RESET leave space then IUC number and send it to 6488. For example; RESET 2088666454.

Reset Online Via GOTV Self-Care Service

  1. Go to the GOtv website on your laptop or phone.
  2. Log into your account with the required details.
  3. Select the GOtv self-service.
  4. Tap on the “Clear Error Code” dialogue box.
  5. Enter your IUC number and then select GOtvE16.
  6. Then enter the error code displayed on your screen and tap on “Clear Error”.
  7. Finally, click on “Reset device now” option.
