Facebook has released almost two features within one month with the latter being the dislike button which was released last month . Now Enough of using someones pics without his/her consent . Facebook in their official Facebook Help page have rolled out a facial Recognition feature called ‘Photo Review’. Which prevents users photos from being posted on Facebook without their attention . This feature can notify users when someone else uploads a photo with the user’s face in it without tagging them .
Some accounts have at least received messages from Facebook Team alerting them of the release of this feature . But if you haven’t you can check the feature from Settings > Click Face Recognition in the left column . However what is true is some accounts barely have this feature but you can let us know via the comment section below about your case .
In the last line of the Facebook message they sent to me and other several accounts they say that the feature is enabled by default ,which means users will start getting notifications as soon as someone posts without tagging them .

However the good news is the notifications can easily be turned off by visiting Settings > Click Face Recognition in the left column of you IOS or android app or even PC > Click Do you want Facebook to be able to recognize you in photos and videos ?, then select Yes or No . However one thing still stands , there is No way to actually disable the Facial Recognition feature.
Will this help to reduce on the number of fake Facebook accounts, is the question we are all asking ourselves .
Apparently, Facebook has been battling with many crimes were it’s users are using others photos without permission to abuse them .
