Huawei devices come with a variety of features that make them powerful and efficient, and one of those features is Power Saving Mode. This model is designed to help you conserve battery life by reducing the device’s power consumption. In this article, we’ll show you how to enable Power Saving Mode on your Huawei device.
Huawei phones have two power-saving modes:
Power Saving mode: This mode reduces power consumption by limiting background app activity, visual effects, and sounds. When the battery level is not extremely low, but you would still like to save power, enable Power Saving mode.
Ultra Power Saving mode: This mode strictly controls background apps to ensure that your tablet can stay on for as long as possible. In this mode, you will only be able to use selected apps, and all system switches, except for Wi-Fi and mobile data, will be turned off. When the battery level is extremely low, enable Ultra Power Saving mode. Your tablet will then display a black home screen. To add apps you wish to use in Ultra Power Saving mode, touch and select the apps from the list. You can touch to remove the apps or touch in the upper right corner to exit Ultra Power Saving mode.

Use Quick Menu Settings to Enable Power Saving Mode Huawei
- Unlock your phone and drag your finger from the top of your screen downward.
- From the listed options select Ultra Power Saving Mode or Power Saving Mode.
- Enable the option.
Use Huawei Device Settings to Enable Power Saving Mode Huawei
- The first step to enabling Power Saving Mode is to open the Settings app on your Huawei device.
- Once you’re in the Settings app, scroll down until you see the Battery option. Tap on it to access the battery settings.
- In the Battery settings, you’ll see the two power-saving options; Power Saving Mode and Ultra Power Saving Mode. Toogle on the preferred option and the Power Saving Mode settings will be activated.
To disable Power Saving Mode or Ultra Power Saving Mode, follow the same steps described above.
