Why Some Apps are Geo-blocked
A developer of an application may set restrictions on his application depending on the geographical location for several reasons, and one of them may be to set varying prices for his products in the different locations and countries in which they will be available.
Also, copyright and licensing restrictions may be a reason why a country will access certain apps whereas another country cannot. Using Virtual Private Network (VPN).
If you want to access TV, movies, and media not available in your country, or even shop from an overseas site. VPN gives your device a private secure internet connection that conceals your information or location from any other party, allowing you to get around blocked overseas websites and geo-blocked apps. Once you’ve downloaded the VPN, select the country whose Play Store you want to access in the VPN app, get the VPN up and running, and then open the Play Store app. It should land on the Play Store homepage of the country you selected, and you should be able to get the app you desire.

- To Begin with, launch your App Store.
- Click on the human icon which you will find at the top right corner of the page, and Sign Out of your existing ID.
- Once you have signed out from your previous ID. The next step is to create a new ID that will help you to change your App Store country.
- To create your new Apple ID follow the link, and tap below on Create your Apple ID option.
- Fill in all the required fields. And select the new country, from where your desired app belongs to. Tap Continue
- With this, you’ll receive a verification code via email. Enter the code on your device and your new Apple ID will be created.
- Launch the App Store, and search for the app you want to download. Once you click on to install button. A message will appear where you have to sign in again with your new Apple ID.
- After signing in with your new credentials you’ll be required to enter specific details about account billing information.
- Complete your Apple ID, by choosing the mode of payment. You have to choose “None”, fill out the U.S Billing Address, contact information and click “Next” to proceed.
- Note: You can enter any phone number you want or try Googling Fake NYC Phone Numbers, and you will be presented with a list of numbers from which you can choose one and fill in the Contact Number field. You can do this because Apple doesn’t verify the Phone Number here, So Go Ahead!
Now your device is all set to install Geo Restricted apps on iPhone.
