Disable Comments on Facebook
For a Single Post
1. Launch the preferred post on your profile on which you want to disable comments.
2. Tap the three-dot option on the top right corner of the post.
3. Click on “Who can comment on your post.”
4. Select the preferred option on the list.

For Groups
1. Go to the Group whose comments you want to restrict.
2. Tap the three-dot option on the top right corner of the screen.
3. Select Turn-off Comments.
How Disable Comments on Instagram
Disable for Live Post
1. Launch the Instagram app.
2. Click the profile picture thumbnail to open your profile page.
3. Choose the post whose comments should be restricted.
4. Then tap the three horizontal dots on the right side.
5. Click on “Turn off commenting”. The Comment icon will disappear and all previous comments will be invisible from their audience and you.
Turn off Comments before Posting
1. Choose the post you want to share.
2. Click the Advanced Settings at the bottom of the captions section.
3. Under the comments section, toggle the button on the right-hand side of “Turn off commenting.” It will turn blue, indicating that comments will be turned off on your post.
4. Click the back arrow beside advanced settings from the left-hand corner and tap the post icon.

Turn Off Comments on Instagram Live
1. Launch the Instagram app, tap Stories then select Start a Live Video.
2. After starting the live video, click the three vertical lines at the right-hand side of the “Add a Comment”.
3. Select “Turn off Commenting” from the displayed menu.
Turn Off Comments on Instagram Story
1. Open your profile in your Instagram app. Tap on the hamburger icon at the top right-hand side.
2. Select Settings and then tap on the Privacy option.
3. Click on Story.
4. Tap Off to disable comments. The blue tick should shift from Everyone to OFF option.
How to Turn off Replies/Comments on Twitter
Twitter does not have the option to completely turn off comments. However, you can filter who you would like to comment on your tweet.
1. Open the Twitter app.
2. Click on the Quill icon to Compose a Tweet.
3. After attaching your text, photo, tap on the Everyone can Reply option.
4. Who can Reply will open, select the preferred option from Everyone, People you Follow, and Only mentioned People.
