Google chrome has got a save password feature that allows its users to store their usernames and passwords so that they can easily login to their accounts the next time they try accessing them.

This feature is by far one of my best since i store passwords for a lot of accounts and can retrieve them whenever i need . However sometimes you may wish to delete saved passwords on chrome because of many circumstances you may know better .

Chrome saved passwords are these passwords saved when you see the ‘Do you want Google Chrome to save your password for this site’ pop up .

First before i show you how to delete saved passwords on chrome , you’ll need to know this . Google chrome saves all your usernames and passwords under Chrome Settings Passwords .

All chrome saved passwords are kept secure from external threats or hackers . So be assured that your saved passwords are in good hands .


Delete saved passwords on Chrome ( individual )

You can delete chrome saved passwords by following the steps below:-

  1. Open your chrome web browser and navigate to Menu ( three vertical dotted lines at the top right corner )

2. Select Settings Menu option as show below.

3. Under Settings , Scroll down at the bottom and click the Advanced Optional .

4. Under the Advanced options, navigate to the “Passwords and Forms” section and click Manage Passwords

5. Manage passwords form will open up with a number of options you can do with your saved chrome passwords .

6. In the Saved passwords section that appears , navigate through the saved passwords and select username and password you need to delete . Then click on the menu icon ( three vertical dotted lines at right of password )

7. A small menu will pop up with options of Details or Remove . Click Remove and chrome saved password will be deleted from your saved password list .

Meanwhile from the manage passwords section , you can also turn on the offer to save chrome passwords whenever you sign in to a website .

This section also contains Auto sign-in feature . You can also turn on automatically sign in to websites using stored credentials . If this option is disabled , you’ll be asked for confirmation every time before you login to a website.

Note : If you can’t find the chrome saved password from a batch of those saved , you can simply find it by entering a term associated with it in the Search passwords field .

Deleting All Chrome Saved Passwords

It may sound as a big job to delete all chrome saved passwords one by one in the manage passwords section of Chrome settings password.

To delete all chrome saved passwords at once , you’ll have to follow the steps below :-

  1. Open Google chrome browser and press CTRL + Shift + Del on your keyboard .
  2. A clear browsing data window will pop up in the new tab as shown below.

3. Navigate to time range option and select All time . Uncheck all the other options below except for passwords .

4. Lastly click Clear Data to delete all saved passwords on chrome .
