If you are an IOS user, then you can now copy text from a photo without using a third-party app. This can only be done with IOS 15. IOS 15 software has a Live Text feature that recognizes text from pictures. All you have to do is select and copy the words on the photo then paste them wherever you want. Here are the steps to follow to copy text from an image on your phone.

- Open Photos app on your Iphone or Mac.
- Select photo that has text like menus, shopping list etc.
- Zoom in the photo for the text to appear clearly.
- Long press on the words and drag the ends of the selection tool to highlight all the text.
- Release your figure off the screen and click on Copy.
- Switch to any app that supports text input and paste the content there.
