How to Download a PDF version of Google Docs
1. Sign in to Google Docs and open the document you wish to convert to PDF.
2. Click File in the top left corner.
3. Under the file menu select Download.
4. From the popup menu select PDF Document (.pdf).
5. The file will download instantly into the default download folder. Check your computer’s download folder for the PDF you just created.
How to Email a PDF version of a Google Docs
1. Go to Google Docs and sign in. Now, open a pre-existing Google Doc document or create a new document.
2. Click on File at the top left corner.
3. From the drop-down menu select Email and on the right panel select Email This File.
4. Enter the recipient’s email address. Use your email address if you’d like to have the converted document delivered to your inbox. Enter a subject header, and, if you’d like, a message.
5. Also select attach the file as a PDF.
6. Select Send. The recipient(s) will receive the PDF as an email attachment, which they can then download.
How to Save a PDF Version of a Google Docs to Google Drive
1. Go to Google Docs and sign in. Now, open a pre-existing Google Doc document or create a new document.
2. Click on File at the top left corner.
3. Select Print.
4. In the Destination field, select Save to Google Drive, then select Save.
5. The PDF will be saved to your Google Drive. You can view or share it directly from this location.
