Method 1: Use USSD Codes
Here is how you can check Safaricom postpay balance;
- Launch the phone app on your device.
- Dial *200# and press okay.
- Opt for “My account” option and follow prompts.
Method 2: Check via SMS
Open the messaging app on your device.
Type BALANCE or USAGE and send it to 200.
You will receive a message about your post pay balance.

Open the messaging app on your device.
Type MINUTES.
Enter recipient as 200 and click send button.
Check SMS Bundle
- Open messaging app on your device.
- Type SMS.
- Enter recipient as 200 and click send button.
Check Data Bundle
Open the messaging app on your device.
Type DATA.
Enter recipient as 200 and click the send button.
Note: For all resources balance check; the customer will send the word RESOURCES TO 200. For those customers who are unable to access SMS 200, CEE will activate them through the SMS 200 tool.
