Check KCSE Results via SMS

Here is how you can check your results online. The service is available on Safaricom, Airtel Kenya, and Telkom Kenya. If you plan on using this service, please put in mind that charges apply.

1. Open Messaging app.

2. Tap on Create Message.

3. Type index number then KCSE without leaving any space for instance 23467847002KCSE.

4. Then send to 20076.

5. The results will be sent instantly via SMS.

Check KCSE Results Online

This method will show results for a particular candidate.

1. Go to KCSE portal Official KNEC website (knec.ac.ke)

2. Locate and click the KCSE Results tab on the home page.

3. Choose the year you sat for the Exams

4. Enter your Index number.

5. Click the Submit button.

6. The KCSE results will appear on the screen after the details are confirmed.

Check KCSE Results For the Whole School

This method will show you how to view and download results for the whole school. All you need is the index number of the first and last candidate.

1. Go to KCSE portal Official KNEC website (knec.ac.ke)

2. Login with your username and password which were provided during registration or register for an account if you are new.

3. Search “From Index” Tab and enter first candidate’s index number.

4. For the “To index Number”, enter the last candidate’s index number.

5. After entering the details, click on “View Report”.

6. You can choose to export the report once the slips have loaded.
