Social media gives us the power to be whoever we want to be and this reflects more on the username. The Instagram username is an identification used by an individual to access an online service. Instagram allows you to change your username. The individual can choose to use letters and emojis. Here is how you can change your Instagram username.
Change your Instagram username via App
1. Launch your profile by clicking the Avatar icon at the bottom right corner.
2. Click the Edit Profile option under your Bio.
3. Tap the Username field.
4. Enter/type your new username.
5. Click Done.
Note: If you do not like the new handle or if you a mistake is made during this process, you can revert to your old handle in 14 days.

Change your Instagram Username via Web
1. Go to instagram.com
2. Log in with your username and password.
3. Tap on the profile icon on the right-hand side of the homepage.
4. Click the Edit Profile option.
5. Tap the Username field.
6. Enter/type your new username.
7. Click Done.
Note: If you do not like the new handle or if you a mistake is made during this process, you can revert to your old handle in 14 days.
