Did you know that you could change your Azam language? I understand that this might be news in your ears, but it is possible. Azam supports culture and language diversity that’s why the pay-TV company allows subscribers to change their language depending on preference. As of now, Azam Uganda supports only 2 languages; English and Swahili. The subscriber can choose to set a different language for the menu settings, audio language, and subtitle language.

How to Change Your AZAM TV Language to Another

The choice to change language is divided into three categories; category 1 for menu language, category 2 for the audio language, and category 3 for subtitle language. Follow the prompts below to change the language as preferred.

1. Change Menu Language

Under this category, you can change the menu language from English to Swahili or from Swahili to English. Follow the step-by-step guide to change the menu language.

  1. Switch on your decoder and connect it to the TV set.
  2. Press the Menu button on your remote.
  3. Select the “Settings” option from the menu.
  4. Opt for System Settings.
  5. Choose Language.
  6. Then opt for Menu Language.
  7. Select Language as English or Kiswahili.
  8. Save the settings.

2. Change Audio Language

This category will change the Azam audio to the preferred language from English to Swahili or from Swahili to English. Follow the step-by-step guide to change the audio language.

  1. Switch on your decoder and connect it to the TV set.
  2. Press the Menu button on your remote.
  3. Select the “Settings” option from the menu.
  4. Opt for System Settings.
  5. Choose Language.
  6. Then opt for Audio Language.
  7. Select Language as English or Kiswahili.
  8. Save the settings.

3. Change Subtitle Language

This category will alternate the subtitle language from English to Swahili or from Swahili to English. Follow the step-by-step guide to change the subtitle language.

  1. Switch on your decoder and connect it to the TV set.
  2. Press the Menu button on your remote.
  3. Select the “Settings” option from the menu.
  4. Opt for System Settings.
  5. Choose Language.
  6. Then opt for Subtitle Language.
