By default, all documents, images, and videos that are downloaded from the Opera Mini browser will be saved to the Downloads folder on your user account both on your computer and Android phone. However, if you prefer saving downloads to another folder, then you can change the default Opera Mini download location. If you successfully alter the default download location, you will need to visit that particular folder to view your downloads.

How to Change Download Location in Opera on your Computer
1. Open the Opera browser on your computer.
2. Click on Menu in the left top corner.
3. Select Preferences from the drop-down menu then tap on Advanced.
4. In the left pane, scroll down to the “Downloads Section.”
5. Next to the download folder, click on “Choose and select the new destination for your downloads.”
6. Go ahead and select the folder that you want to set as the new default download location. You can also create a new folder by tapping on “Make New Folder.”
7. Once you have selected the folder, click OK and the default download folder will be switched to your new selection.

How to Change Download Location in Opera Mini on your Android Phone
1. Open Opera Mini on your Android phone.
2. Tap on the Opera logo at the bottom-right corner which brings you to the options menu.
3. Click on the gear icon leading to the settings of the app.
4. Scroll down and click on Downloads.
5. Now click on the Download folder option.
6. The browser will open a file viewer from where you can view the folders, change the download location to a particular folder, or even create a new folder for the same purpose.
7. Once you have selected the folder, click OK and the default download folder will be switched to your new selection.
Quick Note: Moving forward, all new Opera Mini downloads will be downloaded in the folder that you selected. That means that the downloaded components (images, videos, and documents) will not be located in the Downloads folder as it was before.
