By default, all documents, images, and videos that are downloaded from the Microsoft Edge browser will be saved to the Downloads folder on your user account both for the Windows computer and Mac. However, if you prefer saving downloads to another folder, then you can change the default Microsoft Edge download location. If you successfully alter the default download location, you will need to visit that particular folder to view your downloads. Additionally, you can also enable the “Ask where to save each file” option. In this particular setting, users will be prompted to select a folder manually where the download file will be saved each time they hit the download icon. Here is how you can change the default download location in Microsoft Edge.
