Did you know that you could buy Safaricom airtime for another number? Safaricom gives you a choice to buy airtime for your friends and family. The procedure to achieve this is simple and similar to the same steps of buying airtime for your own number.
Buy Airtime for Another Number via MPESA Menu
1. Go to M-pesa Menu.
2. Select the Buy Airtime option.
3. Choose to Buy for another number.
4. Enter the phone number that you want to buy airtime for.
5. Then enter the Amount.
6. Key in your Mpesa pin.
7. Confirm if the number and amount are correct.
8. Press OK to complete the transaction.
9. You will receive a confirmatory message from M-pesa.

Buy Airtime for Another Number via My Safaricom App
This method is strictly for those who have downloaded the My Safaricom app. However, you can also choose to download it if you have not. It is available on App Store (IOS) and Play Store (Androids).
1. Open the My Safaricom App.
2. Click on Top-up Menu.
3. Select Another Member from the list of options.
4. Choose the member.
5. Enter the scratch card digits then press OK.
