With the Wave app, subscribers can choose to send money, pay bills and buy airtime at their convenience. Here is how you can buy airtime via the Wave app.
Method 1:
This method is for those who have not yet registered with Wave mobile money. To get started you need to download the app then create a Wave account. Follow the steps below to buy airtime via the Wave app.
1. Download and install the Wave app on your device from either Google Play Store or App Store.
2. Click Open to launch the Wave app on your device.
3. Enter your mobile number (Airtel/MTN number).
4. Then key in the secret code that was sent via SMS on the registered number.
5. You will then be prompted to enter your full names, by doing so you will have accepted the terms and conditions of using the Wave app.
6. Next, you will have to create your wave log-in pin. Enter and confirm your new pin.
7. Hereafter, you will be referred to the main menu page.
8. Click on Airtime.
9. Allow the app to access your contact list.
10. Enter the recipient’s number from the contact list by entering their initials or click buy airtime for a new number then input full names and mobile number. Click the next button.
11. Key in the amount then click buy.

Method 2:
This method is for existing wave customers;
1. Launch the Wave app on your device.
2. key in the 4-digit pin.
3. Tap on Airtime.
4. Enter the recipient’s number from the contact list by entering their initials or click buy airtime for a new number then input full names and mobile number. Click the next button.
5. Key in the amount then click buy.
