This guide shows you how to lock/block channels on GOTV for parental control. Parental control is a measure taken to stop children from watching certain stations on a particular Gotv package. If the parental control is activated, children will only have access to channels rated 13 or below, 16 or below, and 18 or below according to adults’ preferences. However, you can choose to block some Channels that you do not want.

How to Configure Parental Control on GOTV
1. Press the Green GOTV button or Menu button on the remote.
2. Scroll down and select Parental Control then press OK.
3. Enter your parental PIN then press OK to confirm. The GOtv Parental Control default pin is 1234.
4. Select Blocking options.
5. Change Global Blocking to Personalise (press the left and right buttons).
6. Go to Parental Guidance Settings then select either PG13, 13, 16, 18, and press OK. The settings will be saved.
7. Press the TV button to exit.

How to Lock / Block Channels on GOTV

4. Select Blocking options.
5. Change Global Blocking to Personalise (press the left and right buttons) .
6. Press Exit to go back to the previous menu.
7. Select the Block Channels option.
8. Click OK on every channel/channels that you want to block. The padlock icon will appear on that channel.
9. Click the TV button to exit.

How to Unlock/Unblock Channels on GOTV
1. Press the Green GOTV button or Menu button on the remote.
2. Scroll down and select Parental Control then press OK.
3. Enter your parental PIN then press OK to confirm. The GOtv Parental Control default pin is 1234.
4. Select Blocking options.
5. Change Global Blocking to Personalise (press the left and right buttons).
6. Press Exit to go back to the previous menu.
7. Select the Block Channels option.
8. Go to a particular channel you want to unblock and press OK.
9. Click the TV button to exit.
