How does the Afro Mobile App work?
The Afro mobile app is a live streaming app that allows users to watch TV stations, read blogs, listen to the radio, podcasts, and DJ mixes. Hereafter you can choose to join the live interaction to update the world about what is making news in your area, give feedback and fact check what is trending in Kampala.
To get started, download the app on the Play Store and App Store then register for an account. You will immediately access unsubscribed for Ugandan content online on your smartphone/computer from wherever you are. The app strictly works when you are online.

How to Download and Register for the Afro Mobile App Uganda?
1. Search for Afro mobile app on Play Store (Androids) or App Store (IOS).
2. Download and install the app on your device.
3. Launch/open the app.
4. Register/Sign up with your email address, Apple, Facebook, or Google account.
5. Enter all the required log-in details.
6. If registration is successful, the Afro Mobile app menu will launch.
How to Use the Afro Mobile App
As the app user, you will not fail to appreciate that Afro Mobile app is nothing short of well-polished, has a user-friendly interface and a range of on-screen control features to allow you consume information your way. You can pause, rewind, share content and do lots of other things. The app further provides regular recommendations for you to test your interests.
Settings: Click the three parallel lines in the bottom right corner to view Settings options. You can choose to edit your profile, report a problem, check account details, switch to dark mode, and sign out.
Audio: Click the radio icon in the left bottom corner of the screen. A list of radio stations and podcasts will appear if the option is selected. Scroll down to choose the radio/podcast that you want to listen to or use the search bar at the top. A new page will open prompting the radio you have selected to play instantly. The listener can now pause when they wish to, check the Programme line up and chat with other listeners.
Visuals: Click the TV icon, the third option from the bottom left. Here you can choose to watch live channels or select Trending. If you select a channel under the Live option, you can pause, join the live chat and check the program lineup. However, under Trending, you will find recorded videos that allow you to play, rewind, pause, and forward.
DJ Mixes: Click the Headset icon at the bottom of the screen, then scroll through or search for a particular DJ Mix. Tap on the mix you would like to listen to, the pause, like and comment options are available for use.
Blogs: If you prefer reading, consider clicking on the website icon before the notification bell, then scroll through to select the story that interests you.
Notifications: Click the notification bell to view all your notifications.
