How to Adjust Flashlight Brightness for iOS
Here is how you can adjust flashlight brightness for IOS or iPhone. However, this method might work on iPhones that support 3D Touch.
- Open the Control Center by Swiping up from the bottom of your iPhone screen.
- Spot the Flashlight icon (Torch icon). If it is not available, then navigate to “Settings” > tap Control Center > Customize Controls > then include Torch to the Control Center.
- Long-press the flashlight icon to expose the flashlight’s brightness adjustment bar.
- Now that the Flashlight adjustment bar is exposed, tap on the different levels until you achieve the brightness that you prefer.
- Then click in the open space to save the brightness level.
Note: The current set brightness level will function as the default Flashlight brightness level on your device. You can still choose to adjust it by following the above steps.

How to Adjust Flashlight Brightness for Android
The two listed methods of adjusting flashlight brightness work depending on the Android phone you have.
Method 1:
- Swipe down from the top to reveal the Notification bar and quick phone settings.
- Tap the “Flashlight” text right below the flashlight icon.
- The flashlight menu page will display on your screen.
- Turn the flashlight switch “On“. Then adjust the slider from “Level 1” to “Level 5”, depending on how bright or deem you want it to be.
Method 2:
- Swipe down from the top to reveal the Notification bar and quick phone settings.
- Continuously tap on the “Flashlight” icon. It will alternate into different levels of brightness. Stop tapping on the icon as soon as you achieve the desired brightness level.
Note: The current set brightness level will function as the default Flashlight brightness level on your device. You can still choose to adjust it by following the above steps.
