How to Add Showmax to Your DStv Bill

If you love viewing all entertainment contents available on the Multichoice platform from football, movies, music, documentaries, and so on, you may find yourself subscribed to various streaming and cable services at the same time. For example, Showmax let you live stream movies on the go, and DStv for other entertaining contents. However, maintaining a constant (monthly) subscription to both sites might be difficult.

To address this, Multichoice decided to implement a feature that allows customers with both Showmax and DStv accounts to add their Showmax bill to DStv. If you have DStv Premium, you may add the Showmax standard plan to your DStv bill at no additional cost, and if you have a cheaper package, you just pay 50% of your Showmax plan. This allows you to watch even more amazing movies, local and international programs, and children’s entertainment anytime you want.

Users on the DStv Compact Plus, Compact, Family, or Access plans get a 50% discount on their normal showmax subscription when they add it to their DStv bill.

How to Include Showmax in Your DSTV Bill

Showmax can be added to your DStv bill using the My DStv app.

Step 1: Launch the MyDStv app. If you don’t already have it, download the MyDStv app (iOS or Android).

Step 2: Click on the “Add Showmax” plus icon under the Self Service section. you will be prompted to create a Showmax account if you don’t have it already. If you do, click sign in and sign to your account.

Step 3: If your DStv plan is not active, click the Pay/Reconnect button or press the “Activate Now” button for users with active DStv account.

Step 4: All you have to do if you have Dstv’s premium package is start watching. You must upgrade if you are on a lower plan.

Customers using DStv Premium (Web)

1. Sign in to your DStv account and look for the “Add Showmax” plus icon under the Self Service section.
2. Select ‘Activate’.
3. When asked to create a Showmax account, choose “Create Account”. If you already have a Showmax account, just sign in and start viewing.

Customers with DStv Compact Plus, Compact, Family, or Access

1. Sign into your account and look for the 50% Off Showmax banner on the account dashboard.
2. Click the ‘Activate’ button.
3. You will be prompted to add Showmax for a 50% discount.
4. After that, you’ll be sent to the Eazy Self-Service payment gateway.
5. Select ‘A one off payment’ under the Select payment option to credit your DStv account with the remainder of this month’s subscription.
6. After making your payment, click ‘Activate Account’ to begin viewing Showmax.

Currently, the basic plan is what you get when you add Showmax to your DStv payment. DStv customers cannot presently take advantage of any special Showmax Pro offers. To access Showmax’s content, you must sign up for the Pro plan.
