Please note that factory resetting your Huawei Band 7 will erase all data and settings on the device. This includes your personal information, such as your activity and sleep data, as well as any custom settings you have configured. Be sure to sync your data with the Huawei Health app before performing a factory reset, if you want to keep a copy of your data.
Reset using the Huawei Band 7
Here is how you can use the Huawei Band7 settings to reset your watch directly;
Step 1: Launch the menu by pressing the side button on your Huawei band 7.
Step 2: Scroll down and select the settings app from the list of displayed options.
Step 3: Under the listed settings options, select System.
Step 4: Now tap on Reset.
Step 5: You will be prompted to confirm whether you want to reset your watch. Confirm by tapping the Blue Check. Choosing to confirm the reset process will erase all data on your Huawei Band 7.
Step 6: The Huawei band 7 will then be powered off. This will take a few seconds for all the data to be erased. Once the resetting process is complete, the watch will restart again and be ready for pairing.
Factory Reset Using the Huawei Health App
For this method, ensure that the smartphone you intend to use is paired with the Huawei Band 7. Also, ensure that your watch battery is above 30%. Once that is figured out, let’s factory reset your band 7 using the Huawei Health app.
Step 1: Open the Huawei Health app on your phone.
Step 2: Select Devices from the bottom menu.
Step 3: Select Huawei Band 7 from the list of devices.
Step 4: Scroll down to Restore to Factory Settings.
Step 5: Confirm the process by tapping on Restore.
Step 6: The Huawei Band 7 will disappear from the list of devices on your Huawei Health app and the watch will start resetting itself to factory settings. Once the setting process is complete, the watch will restart again. You can now go ahead and set it up.
