Ardhisasa is an online platform that allows citizens, key stakeholders, and interested parties to interact with any information and processes on lands associated with the Kenyan Government. This platform was developed by the Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning, the National Land Commission, and some Government partners. It was created to enable citizens to access credible, reliable, and efficient land services. Before it was developed, people had to visit Ardhi’s house to deal with land issues. You no longer need to queue for hours to get the services or carry out the transaction services. It has also eliminated fraud, corruption, and manipulation of critical land records. A Kenyan can search for land transactions, transfers, and registrations from the comfort of their home using this portal. To access services on Ardhisasa, you need to have a registered account.

Services Offered in the Ardhisasa Portal:
- Land registration – this includes search, transfers, registration of certificates of titles, lease, stamp duty, etc.
- Land administration – comprises of payment of land rent, changing the owner, renewal of a lease, etc.
- Survey and Mapping
- Physical Planning
- Valuation of the land, etc
How to create an Individual Ardhisasa Account
1. To get started, launch your browser and go to the Ardhisasa Website.
2. Click on the “Register” icon in the upper right corner.
3. From the menu pop-up, select the “Individual Registration” option if you are an individual and “Company Registration” if you are registering a company.

4. Now select “Identification Type” which in this case is the National ID then enter your Identity Card Number as prompted and click “Verify”.
5. On the next page you will be required to enter your “Phone Number”. After that click get OTP code. The OTP will be sent to the registered phone number via SMS. Input the OTP code sent to your phone in the space provided.
6. Go ahead and provide your email address. Upon doing so, click get OTP code. The OTP will be sent to the registered email address. Input the OTP code sent in your email in the space provided.

7. Set your Password then click register and your Ardhisasa account will be created.
Now that you have successfully created your Ardisasa account, proceed to log in to your account and enjoy the services offered by the platform. Remember to upload your profile photo (a colored passport-size photo with a white background), provide three security questions, add a digital signature and upload more required identification documents.
Note that every time you log in an OTP code will be sent to your registered mobile phone.
