Unlike other sim cards on the market that are sold at UGX 2000, Lycamobile sim cards are five times more expensive. The official and confirmed Lycamobile sim card price in Uganda is UGX 10,000 only.

However, the Lycamobile sim card price differs from place to place especially with the dealers who offer already registered cards. Buying registered cards is illegal and that is why they sell them expensively. If you are buying from authorized dealers, then you will have to pay UGX 10,000 only and registration is free. All you need is a national ID and the rest will be handled by the Lycamobile agent.
