Buy SMS Bundle Using My Airtel App
- Open the My Airtel App. Available on Android and IOS.
- Click Buy Bundles on the home page.
- Enter the receipt phone number (could be your number or someone else’s number). Click Buy Bundles to proceed.

- Launch the phone app on your device.
- Dial *160*2*4# then OK.
- Choose between “Buy for Self” and “Buy for Other”.
- Select the SMS bundle of your choice then tap OK.
NOTE: You can only buy SMS bundles on MTN using Airtime with the above method.
Buy SMS Bundle on My MTN App
- Open My MTN app. Available on both Android and IOS.
- Tap on “Buy” at the bottom of the page.
- Select “SMS”.
- Alternate through the Daily and Weekly bundle options to choose your SMS package.
- Tap on the preferred SMS package. Under the “Buy for” option, click the drop-down menu to opt for either Me or Someone Else.
- Tap on Airtime or Mobile Money as the preferred “Payment Method”. Select the Mode of Activation then press Continue.
- Confirm payment page will open. Click Proceed to confirm details. You have finally loaded the SMS bundle.
