Did you know that you can now schedule posts on Instagram?
For any creative who uses Instagram as a platform for marketing and any related business, I have good news for you. The old hustle days of waiting for push notifications to publish posts are over.
Years ago, Instagram started updating its API (Application Programme Interface) to help businesses manage their online presence effectively. This meant business accounts were able to:
- Schedule their content (posts)
- View posts they were tagged in and also other business profiles.
The new features of the API allowed third-party applications like HOOTSUITE to schedule content on Instagram. However, business accounts had to schedule and wait for push notifications as an alert for them to tap the publishing button. The update was disturbing as the publishing time would easily find you offline or even busy. The plea to have an automatic publishing Instagram scheduler has been answered.
Currently, Instagram announced a major update that will see all social media managers rejoice. This will only be able through the Facebook Creator Studio app.
Forget the scheduling tools like Later or Hootsuite, you can now schedule Instagram posts for FREE with the Facebook Creator Studio App.
