List of all night data bundles in Uganda
From the list below, we share different data bundles/plans for the night owls. You might probably have heard that the internet is faster during night hours, and want to try out these bundles. However, the speed might depend on your internet service provider, location and also speed limits set after a given maximum usage of your night data bundle
1. MTN Night data bundles Uganda
MTN Uganda has a variety of night internet bundles for their midnight owls. These include
MTN NightShift
The MTN Nightshift is an overnight internet bundle for MTN users. Well, the word overnight might be an overstatement.
This night internet bundle starts at midnight and expires at 6:00 am in the morning. The MTN Night shift internet bundle is affordable, only UGX 2,000 and you get yourself 1GB.
How to load the Nightshift MTN night internet bundle
The steps are quite easy and simple.
- Dial *150*1#
- Select option NightShift
. . . at least that’s what MTN Uganda’s official website says.
Sadly, I haven’t quite found this bundle in the list of options after dialing *150*1#. Maybe MTN is silently taking it down, as its users now prefer the Gaga Time which you should check out next.
MTN Gaga Time Bundle
Forget about the MTN Gaga Wednesday bundle, this is called the MTN Gaga Time internet bundle. To find the difference between the two, check out the table comparison in this blog.
The MTN Gaga Time is a night internet bundle for users who are willing to trod the midnight hours.
This internet bundle is worth UGX 2000 for 2 GB and 4000 for 5 GB. The MTN Gaga time bundle is valid from midnight and it expires at 10:00 am in the morning.
From the look of things, 10:00 am in the morning sounds good and actually better than the MTN NightShift bundle, which expires at 6:00 am.
How to load the MTN Gaga Time bundle
- Dial *150#
- Select Option 1 (Mobile internet)
- Then Select option 1 again (Buy a bundle)
- After, Select option 5 (Gaga Time)
- Choose your preferred option (Option 1 for UGX 2000 or Option 2 for UGX 4000)
- You will receive a success notification if your transaction is made, and enjoy your night internet bundle.

2. Airtel Uganda Night data bundles
In case you hadn’t realized, Airtel Uganda also has a night internet/data bundle that can take you through the night. Without further ado, I give you;
Airtel Night Internet bundles Uganda
The Airtel night internet bundles have always been around from way back. This particular night data bundle is ONLY UGX 2000. It is valid from Midnight to 6:00 am.
How to load the Airtel night data bundle
- Dial *175*61#
- Follow the prompts and purchase the bundle (From either Airtime or Airtel mobile money)
Airtel Uganda New Night Data bundles
Before you spend off your UGX 2000 to buy the previous Airtel Night data bundle, you might want to take a look at this one.
Airtel Uganda has another pair of juicy new night internet bundles, which were introduced earlier this April.
This Airtel midnight data bundle comes in a pair of 2. For UGX 2000 you get 2 GB and For UGX 4000 you get 5 GB. This airtel midnight data bundle is valid from Midnight to 10:00 am. This difference in validity is why I endorse this bundle, rather than the other.

How to buy the new Airtel night data bundles Uganda
- Dial *175*62# (for the 2GB bundle) or *175*63# (for the 5GB bundle)
- Follow the prompts and pay for the night data bundle with either mobile money or airtime.
OR (For the old schoolers) - Dial *175#
- Select option 2 (Data bundles)
- Then choose option 6 (Data Time Bundles)
- Choose the bundle of your liking (2GB or 5GB) as shown below, and purchase either with Airtime or Mobile money

3. Africell Uganda Night internet bundles
Africell Uganda initially had night internet bundles, but they threw them under the bus. This was after they introduced a list of Africell new data bundles.
Probably this move was because they got a whole load of better bundle options to fill up for the midnight bundles.
In case Africell Uganda introduces new night data bundles, we shall update this blog under this particular section.
4. LycaMobile Uganda night data bundles
The latest kid on the block, LycaMobile hasn’t yet give its users any night data packages.
However, don’t be fooled. LycaMobile has some cheap data bundles which might take you through the month, week or day. These go for as low as UGX 10000 to get 1GB for 30 days.

5. Roke Telkom Uganda Night data bundles
Roke Telkom is a telecommunications company which offers big on home-based internet solutions. These mostly include Fibre connections and also, router (WiFi) internet-based connections.
User or not, Roke Telkom has quite a juicy midnight internet offer on their bundles. This runs throughout the week *inserts wide-open eyes emoji*.
If you subscribe to Roke Telkom Classic plus or Unlimited plus (as shown below), you get a FREE weekend and Off-peak hours internet access. The off-peak hours run from 7:00 pm in the evening to 7:00 am in the morning.
6. Smile Night internet bundles Uganda
Smile Uganda has a night data bundle which you might want to take a look at.
The Smile Night bundle comes at only UGX 3000 and it is 1 GB. This smile night data bundle is valid from Midnight to 6:00 am.
To use the smile night data bundle, you should hook yourself up with a smile MiFi. You can find it here.
